Accommodation for conference delegates is held at the Wrest Point Tasmania (Conference Venue). We recommend you book at least 60 days prior to the conference as hotels require unsold rooms to be released at 90, 60 and 30 days prior.

Within 30 days of the conference, you will need to contact the hotel directly to see if the conference rates are still available and whether there is any availability.

All rates are per room, per night and do not include breakfast.

Set on absolute water frontage and close to Salamanca and the city centre, Wrest Point is the luxury viewing deck for Hobart’s many charms. Few cities in the world combine metropolitan proximity with sprawling gardens, beaches and marinas as Hobart does. This is no more evident than at Tasmania’s entertainment and conference epicentre, Wrest Point, where three hotels combine to cater for luxury and executive travellers through to value seekers.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 30 days prior to arrival will incur an amount equall to the total of one night’s room charge for each room cancelled.
For any rooms cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to the total of all room nights cancelled will be charged.
No shows will be charged for all night’s cancelled.

If you need to change or cancel accommodation booking made with Conference Design, please email our team, not the hotel.


The online registration form allows you to book available rooms. You need to provide credit card details, which will be forwarded to the hotel to guarantee your booking.

Please email us your accommodation requirements if you have already registered for the Conference.

Extended Bookings

Please email us if you wish to extend your accommodation booking before or after the Conference.

Changes and Cancellations

Please note the cancellation policies listed for each hotel. Cancellations and no-shows will attract a fee of at least one night’s accommodation. However, each hotel’s policy varies and late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for all the nights booked.

Please email us any cancellations and date changes.


Accommodation and incidental expenses need to be settled using a credit card when you check out.

You can arrange to pay your accommodation using a third-party credit card, e.g. a colleague’s work credit card, by completing the Credit Card Authorisation form (TBC) and emailing it to your confirmed hotel 30-days prior to the conference.

Early Check-in Requests

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability on the day and cannot be confirmed by Conference Design.

You can enter special requests for early check-in in the “Special Requests” field of your reservation. The hotel will do its best to accommodate your request on the day. Please enquire about the status of your request at the front desk upon check-in.
